Interesting way to incorporate these elements as examples. Very nicely done and thank you for the links as well.

Hi;
ReplyDeleteI like the collage, very creative. It seems like a great tool that can be very useful to create information that is easy for the user to view. Applying each concept of the design toolkit with external source examples really illustrates the tools and provides great visual references.
Your background is very fitting for this post. The background design is a collage itself so it really highlights your heading. Also your use of blue reflects Baer’s color descriptions. The white spaces also fit and coordinate well between the post and background, and perhaps illustrate the best way to use white to break up text for users. It is interesting to see the changes in information design go through phases of white space, where it can de distracting or provide the perfect distraction. I think you did a great job.
The video and links really do say it all. You have used more visual than text, the ultimate goal in my opinion. What great ways to have your visuals tell the whole story making the text support it and provide external sources.

Great post. You did a great job with your presentation and explaining how you can use Vuvox. It is a great tool to showcase many different elements. I also like your blog design. I appreciate how your blog post is the only thing I need to focus on. There are no distractions that make me stop reading. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHelen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post!!! So many great examples and videos - I will have to watch each one of them - love the colors - the visuals you picked were all so striking - and Vuvox is a really cool tool!
Thanks for sharing -

Helen,
ReplyDeleteGreat job! It is obvious that you put a lot of work into this post!! I have learned so much in this module that I didn't know about previously. Thanks so much for choosing Vuvox and explaining it. There are so many tools out there and this class has been a great way of learning about them and how to find more.
The way that you put together the presentation and explained the different elements of design and provided examples is very easy to understand and educational. You provided excellent examples and the presentation is put together very professionally.
Your blog design also flows nicely. I really like the background and how it is fixed and doesn't scroll with the rest of the page. That allows the user to focus on what you are writing without being distracted.
